Taskforce launched to address youth's work-life needs

SINGAPORE: The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) has unveiled a new taskforce investigation to to better understand the work-life aspirations of people between 18 and 25 years old.

The taskforce will engage 10,000 young people through activities and events where they can share their aspirations and concerns. Participants can also take a career profiling test and learn new tips on navigating long-term career success.

At the end of the year-long engagement, the taskforce will formulate insights and recommendations to address young people's work-life needs.

“Youths will make up a large proportion of our workforce in future," said NTUC Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng. "As NTUC resolves to refresh and strengthen its compact with workers, we will look at the needs of our youths and help them in their careers amidst local and global challenges."
