SINGAPORE: The garden state was recently named the second-best country when it comes to talent, the latest Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2022 found.
Singapore comes behind Switzerland but ahead of 131 countries, and is the only Asian state to make the top 20 list dominated by European countries.
Published by business school Insead and Portulans Institute, the report aims to help policymakers, investors and recruiters understand the labour trends from a global perspective.
According to the report, the 133 countries rated own 98% of the world’s economic output, accounting for over 93% of its population.
The index also has a city ranking, placing Singapore in its top six, just behind San Francisco, Boston, Seattle and Zurich.
