SINGAPORE: China-based online fashion e-tailer, SHEIN, is mass-hiring marketing talents in Singapore ahead of its Southeast Asian market expansion.
It has announced job vacancies for roles in eCommerce marketing, influencer marketing, social media marketing, and public relations, and plans to increase its workforce by four times this year.
SHEIN, an Asian company known for its affordably-priced apparel, has a Westernised branding and user interface. It has now been introducing more diversity into its models and advertisements following criticisms from its global users.
It has also been accused of allegedly stealing designs from both independent creators and established designers. Airwair, which owns Dr. Martens, and Ralph Lauren, sued the fast-fashion platform for allegedly selling knock-offs of their respective designs.
