Updated: Jan 10

HR TECHNOLOGY: Better HR, a Myanmar-based HR technology startup, has recently raised an undisclosed amount of bridge funding.

The company plans to use the funds to fuel the startup’s expansion into the Southeast Asian market, such as Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

The start-up offers a cloud-based enterprise solution to ease HR processes such as attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises.

“Our product was essential in helping organisations to adapt to work-from-home conditions during Covid-19. Our clients are using Better HR to keep up with employee communications and HR processes despite having to work remotely,” said Ye Myat Min, chairman of Better HR.

Better HR manages over 35,000 employees and has processed more than USD2 million in salaries per month for its services to over 200 companies across Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
