HR APPOINTMENTS: Here’s what’s new and who's changing gigs across the HR community in Southeast Asia.
Priya Pandit, HR Director, L’Oreal Philippines
L’Oreal Philippines, part of leading beauty company L’Oreal, has named Priya Pandit as its new HR Director. Based in Manila, Pandit takes up the role from her earlier position as the Head of Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity, and Employer Branding at L’Oreal India.
Prior to joining L’Oreal, Pandit was the head of leadership hiring across all businesses of the Indian industrial and services conglomerate RGP Group for nine years.
Saurabh Seth, Head of Talent Acquisition, Syfe
Digital investment platform Syfe has appointed Saurabh Seth as the company’s Head of Talent Acquisition. Based in India, Saurabh is responsible for an 8-member team building full-suite wealth management and online brokerage as Syfe continues its effort to strengthen its team in the Asia-Pacific region.
Before joining Syfe, Saurabh was Associate Vice President at talent solution provider Careenet Consulting. As Assistant Vice President, he supported in finding tech talent for various companies such as Uber, Amazon, and Yahoo.
Siriwan Wangthamrong, Executive Vice President of HR, Centara
Thailand-based hotel operator Centara has appointed Siriwan Wangthamrong as its Executive Vice President of Human Resources. With over 30 years of experience, Wangthamrong oversees the company’s entire HR efforts and support over 6,000 staff across Asia and the Middle East.
Before joining Centara, Wangthamrong was the HR director of the security guarding solutions firm G4S Security Services. She has also worked as VP of Human Resources for healthcare services provider Zuellig Pharma from 2016 to 2019.
