Moving On Up: New HR leaders at DSKH and more

HR APPOINTMENTS: Here’s what’s new and who's changing roles across the HR community in Southeast Asia.


Market expansion services firm, DSKH Singapore, has named Daniel Chia Han Yong as its Country Director of Human Resources. In this role, Chia leads the company's HR functions across business units in Singapore. Chia also reports to DSKH Vice President of HR of Southeast Asia and India, Viknesh Nambiar, who is based in Malaysia.


Prior to joining DSKH, Chia was tech giant Samsung Electronics Singapore's Head of Human Resources. At Samsung, he spearheaded the firm's overall HR functions for the Singapore electronics market and regionally for Samsung's Southeast Asia Procurement Centre and Software Quality Engineering.


Marketing agency Iris Singapore has appointed Ramani Amar as its APAC Head of People. Based in Singapore, Amar leads the firm's people-powered strategy in the region, focusing on driving engagement and implementing initiatives and programs that support the entire employee journey.


Before joining Iris, Amar was the Director of HR & Talent – Singapore & Hong Kong for McCann Worldgroup, where she led their DE&I strategy, among other responsibilities.



Real estate company Frasers Property named Vicky Ng as the firm's Group of Head People. Based in Singapore, Ng leads the development of Frasers Property's people strategy, overseeing its human capital across five asset classes. She reports directly to the Group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi


Ng has over two decades of HR and consulting experience. Most recently, she was the Head of People & Culture, Asia at the real estate firm Lendlease, where she established a REIT team for the successful listing of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT on SGX,
