There's plenty of movement at the top of the HR profession at the moment, with several senior level roles announced recently. This instalment of Movin' on Up highlights some big news at GSK, M1, and Google, among others.

M1 Limited welcomes new HR deputy director

Gerald Lau has joined M1 Limited as its Deputy Director of HR, based in Singapore and starting from January, 2022. Lau is an HR leader with more than a decade of international experience, with other career steps occurring at companies such as Wargaming, LinkedIn, and Ted x Singapore. Lau is a Biological Sciences graduate, as well as a certified analyst and facilitator for various psychometric systems.

New Head of HR at GSK

GSK consumer health has welcomed Tricia Duran as its Head of HR for Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Duran worked as an HR director and manager at Unilever Asia for nearly 10 years, overseeing end-to-end HR for its regional headquarters in Singapore. With over 20 years of experience in the HR profession, Duran is also passionate about holistic and sustainable wellbeing, and has an international yoga teacher certification.

Monir Azzouzi leaves Gojek for GoToko

GoToko has welcomed Monir Azzouzi as its Chief People Experience Officer. Previously, Azzouzi worked at Gojek as Vice President for People Experience and People Business Partner, leading the technology startup’s talent function. A digital and culture transformation expert, Azzouzi will be leading HR, IT infrastructure, and corporate services in the joint venture between Unilever and GoJek.

Charlotte Park bids farewell to Google Singapore

Charlotte Park has recently left her role as Lead for Talent Engagement at Google Singapore. During her tenure, she led a team of recruiters and program managers in Southeast Asia, focusing on employment branding, apprentice programs, and hiring. This Harvard graduate is now a talent and culture lead at a research and development firm in the US.
