Indeed reaches out to Gen Z jobseekers via new Tiktok series

SINGAPORE: Indeed Singapore has launched its own Tiktok channel aimed at the large audience of Millennial and Generation Z employees and jobseekers.

The You Better Work, Boss series was launched based on research showing that Generation Z expects employers to put effort into attracting and retaining their staff, more so than previous generations.


According to Indeed, Generation Z workers prioritise work-life balance, and look for employers that align with their core values. They prioritise empathy, diversity, and learning opportunities within the workplace.


“Indeed’s new TikTok channel is aimed at helping to bridge the gap between Generation Z and professional, managerial, executive and technical employers, and help everyone find common ground where businesses and employees can thrive together,” Nishita Lalvani, Marketing Director for Indeed in India and Southeast Asia, said.


Utilising content produced by influencers, the channel will explore three core themes: mental health in the workplace, curated jobs from Indeed's platform, and tips for younger jobseekers.


The new TikTok channel @indeed_sg was launched on August 23.
