Impact.com gears up for Asia growth with new hires

Updated: Mar 8

HR TECHNOLOGY: Partnership management platform, impact.com has significantly expanded its Asia-Pacific team with new hires, including its first Director of People and Culture role.

The company has begun the year with a round of new hires and promotions, after last year’s USD 150 million round of funding. Some of the funds were set aside to double the firm’s number of employees across Asia Pacific in the year ahead.

Tanya Suna (pictured) has been promoted to the newly-created position of Director of People and Culture and will be based in Singapore. From there, she is charged with supporting regional growth in Southeast Asia and across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China. She will also help to launch the brand in India in 2023.

With over two decades in digital, media, and tech startups, she first joined impact.com as People Development Manager, leading the company’s HR, people development, employee experience, and rewards functions.

“Our people are critical to impact.com’s success," she commented. "In 2022 we have bold expansion plans and will look to double our Asia Pacific team this year. With hybrid and remote working environments, it is more important than ever to ensure we are supporting and developing our employees so they can do their best work from anywhere. All the while bringing in opportunities for team connection. I’m thrilled to be on this journey with the best team in the market.”

Additional people have already been hired to strengthen the company's sales, customer success, and partnership teams.
