HR TECHNOLOGY: Founded in Hong Kong in 2019, Flydesk now has a presence in Singapore and Vietnam,
It is no secret that the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way we work. Home offices have become the new reality as we slowly start getting back to the office a few times a week.
Flydesk has created an app that combines tools for team management and desk use management, providing a way to better manage their employees and costs through hybrid working.
“When you have the opportunity to give people the chance to switch between working in an office and remotely in the same week, that starts to be very powerful,” Pimenta de Miranda, founder of Flydesk said.
The management tools in the app include work scheduling and work habit analytics. As well as inform staff about their teammates’ workflows and activities related to their tasks.
For those who have a physical office, the app lets employees book workstations and meeting rooms when they need to work offline. This makes it possible for companies to rent a smaller space, without having to get a desk and chair for each team member. For that, Flydesk has collaborated with many co-working space firms such as WeWork to help companies who are constantly increasing their team to be able to rent temporary desks and not worry about imminent solutions for physical expansion during these unpredictable times.
Recently, Flydesk is speeding up its software development process to consolidate its position as the go-to problem solver in the age of hybrid work.
