SINGAPORE: Responding to the need for environmental, social and governance (ESG) talent and skills in the region, sustainability recruitment firm Acre opened its first APAC office in Singapore on October 13, 2022.
The opening of the Singapore office is a significant milestone for the company in support of its mission to catalyse social and environmental change through recruitment and talent development activities.
The Singapore office will be headed up by its newly appointed lead, Paddy Balfour, who joins Acre with over 18 years of experience in the recruitment industry. It will also serve the company’s existing roster of multinational clients looking to recruit for roles across APAC and support local companies and employers.
Commenting on the opening of its new Singapore office, Acre’s Founder and Director, Andy Cartland said, “More than ever, organisations are requiring sustainability-focused and specialist employees across all departments and skill sets. This need is very apparent across APAC, with the region looking to quickly increase its ESG credentials”.
With offices in London, New York, Amsterdam, and now Singapore, the company aims to bridge potential candidates with organisations in sustainability, corporate affairs and communications, ESG, impact investing, health and safety, environment and energy and clean technology.
